About MonitorPicker
MonitorPicker is an independent monitor research site. We turn published monitor specifications into a catalog you can filter, compare, and understand.
The site is operated by Mehmet Yildiz and funded through Amazon Associates affiliate commissions. We do not sell rankings or accept payment for product coverage.
Why MonitorPicker exists
Monitor shopping is full of numbers that are hard to compare across brands: panel types, response times, resolutions, HDR claims, and marketplace prices. We built a catalog that normalizes those fields and keeps a source link for each record, so you can check the original listing.
The goal is not to declare one universal "best" monitor. It is to help you narrow the field, understand trade-offs, and choose the model that fits your desk, your graphics card, and your budget.
Who runs the site
MonitorPicker was founded in 2025 by Mehmet Yildiz, who is responsible for the monitor catalog, the data import pipeline, the buying guides, and the editorial policies. He is the named author on the site's articles and the person who reviews correction requests.
You can read his full background on the authors page.
How we are funded
When you buy through an Amazon link on MonitorPicker, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These commissions fund the site and cover hosting, data preparation, and maintenance.
Affiliate links do not affect which monitors appear in the catalog or how results are ordered. We do not accept payment for inclusion, ranking, or a favourable review, and we do not publish sponsored posts. If that ever changes, we will disclose it here before the content is published.
How we stay independent
- Rankings are filter results, not paid placements. The catalog is sorted by name; the picker translates your answers into visible filters.
- Every specification record keeps a source URL. Missing values stay blank instead of being estimated.
- We say when we have not measured a property ourselves. We do not claim laboratory testing we have not performed.
- Corrections are welcome and are handled through the contact form.
